B.Sc (Nursing)

West Bank College of Nursing focuses on educating the effective ways to deliver B.Sc Nursing professional course which makes candidates ready to serve humanity through the holistic nursing care as one of the key member of health care team.

Aspirants can opt for B Sc Nursing after completing Class XII with Physics, Chemistry, Biology as mandatory subjects. B.Sc Nursing Graduates have a huge scope in India and abroad as it’s an evergreen field where more nurses are required to treat patients with care. Aspirants must be aware that B.Sc Nursing degree pursued in India is widely accepted overseas.

Admission Process for B.Sc (Nursing)

Admission to B.Sc. Nursing courses in different Government and Private Nursing colleges/Institutions of West Bengal through Joint Entrance Test (JENPAUH-2021) is being conducted by West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board (WBJEEB) on behalf of Central Selection Committee (Nursing), functioning under the Department of Health and Family Welfare, Government of West Bengal.

Aspirants need to appear for the JENPAUH Entrance Examination. JENPUS UG entrance exam is a state-level entrance exam used for the admission of the various programs such as B.Sc Nursing, B.Sc (CCT, OTT, PT, electrophysiology, RIS, dialysis), BPT, BASLP, and BMLT courses. West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board is responsible for the admission process of the B.Sc. Nursing course. Candidates who have qualified in JENPAUH 2021 and for B.Sc. Nursing are allowed to participate in the online counselling process as per the schedule of JENPAUH.

General Nursing Midwifery

The General Nursing Midwifery course is recognized by West Bengal Nursing Council & Indian Nursing Council .It is a unit of (Meridian Medical Research & Private Limited) Narayana Hospitals.

GNM is a 3 years residential course affiliated by Indian Nursing Council (INC) and West Bengal Nursing Council (WBNC).

Eligibility Criteria:

I. Class XII passed from any recognized board i.e. ICSC/CBSC/W.B.H.S.E
II. Should be residing in West Bengal for uninterrupted for 5 years
III. Should have rank in “Joint Entrance Examination for ANM (R) & GNM”

WBSON makes the students enrich with proper scientific theory based knowledge along with practical efficiency as per their course curriculum and also make them moralized, empathetic and efficient enough to serve our society for better health with comprehensive nursing care as a first line care giver of health team member of our health care delivery system.

Admission Process for GNM course:

Admission to GNM Course in all Government and Private School of Nursing of Our West Bengal are through ‘Joint Entrance Examination for ANM ( r ) and GNM’ conducted by ‘West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board’ with the collaboration of Department of Health and family Welfare, Government of West Bengal.Candidates needs to appear for “Joint Entrance Examination for ANM( R ) & GNM”. It is a state level entrance exam used for admission in ANM and GNM courses.WBJEEB is responsible for the admission procedure of GNM course through the official website of Joint Entrance Board.Candidate who have qualified the above mentioned examination and obtained rank card , they are eligible to enroll for the registration process of Online Counselling GNM admission.
Post Basic Diploma In Oncology Nursing

Post Basic Diploma in Oncology Nursing is 1 year Diploma course under WBNC.It is a in-service education programme with 1 year duration.Course starts from the month of January of each year.

Eligibility Criteria :

Candidate passed with GNM/B.Sc Nursing course by recognized State Nursing Council but have reciprocal registration in WBNC and must be an employee of Narayana Multispeciality Hospital/Narayana Superspeciality Hospital.
