General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM)

The General Nursing Midwifery course is recognized by West Bengal Nursing Council & Indian Nursing Council .It is a unit of (Meridian Medical Research & Private Limited) Narayana Hospitals.

GNM is a 3 years residential course affiliated by Indian Nursing Council (INC) and West Bengal Nursing Council (WBNC).

Eligibility Criteria:

I. Class XII passed from any recognized board i.e. ICSC/CBSC/W.B.H.S.E
II. Should be residing in West Bengal for uninterrupted for 5 years
III. Should have rank in “Joint Entrance Examination for ANM (R) & GNM”

Admission Process for GNM course:

Admission to GNM Course in all Government and Private School of Nursing of Our West Bengal are through ‘Joint Entrance Examination for ANM ( r ) and GNM’ conducted by ‘West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board’ with the collaboration of Department of Health and family Welfare, Government of West Bengal.Candidates needs to appear for “Joint Entrance Examination for ANM( R ) & GNM”. It is a state level entrance exam used for admission in ANM and GNM courses.WBJEEB is responsible for the admission procedure of GNM course through the official website of Joint Entrance Board.Candidate who have qualified the above mentioned examination and obtained rank card , they are eligible to enroll for the registration process of Online Counselling GNM admission.
